After watching the video, we think someone would need to be crazy to play that kind of game with no helmet, pads, etc. We are totally going...

I am not, under any circumstances, showing any portion of that video to Landon. The last thing he needs to see is that there is a sport more dangerous than football that he can play...WITHOUT PADS!!!!

Seriously though, I am watching that video and starting to think to myself, I wonder how we can get our kids involved because that looks AWESOME!!!

Wake up, Maryann. Have you seen the bruises on Landon's arms or heard Haylie's stories about dropping girls at competitive cheer squad at school? (This is a new recess passtime Haylie has organized and now has become an elementary school girl cult favorite here in Pendleton. It has grown from 1 unorganized group of girls "cheering" at recess for fun to 5+ "competitive" cheer squads. And please, when you refer to it please use the full name...Competitive Cheer Squad or CCS.) We already have too many injuries with more on the horizon I am certain.

Thank you for totally awesome video, maybe as I am walking down the hall at work today I will just tackle someone. I kind of feel like it now.

OK, so I just had to show Landon this video to get his reaction. He sat there the whole time not moving, totally mesmerized by what he was seeing. At the end I turned to him and said, "What do you think about that?" And he said quietly, still in shock, "...that, was, AWESOME!"

Then we had to watch it again 5 times.

Haylie wandered in and out, obviously unimpressed, but secretly wondering if the Rugby team needed a Competitive Cheer Squad.
